Light is faster than sound. That explains why some people appear bright until they open their mouths!

Camera Review: Panasonic Lumix Camera TZ5 and TZ7.  A colleague had the earlier TZ5 model and the pictures were amazing. Vibrant colours and a clever software called “Intelligent Auto” which does lots of things but the one that blew me away is that when you take a shot with a bright sky and dull ground or a snow background with coloured objects in scene it can treat it as different views and adjust each to make a great shot. I had a Nikon S-201 which I carried at all times and it was great, but the pictures aren’t a patch on the Panasonic. All Lumix models have this Intelligent Auto software. See best web to get a great deal on this camera.

Camera Review: Fujifilm 200 EXR. This second camera has many reviews that rate it as having a wow factor with a very clever sensor. This is the one I ended up buying as it is smaller than the TZ7 (which had the advantage of 12X zoom and HD video) over this one with only 5x zoom. I compared my Nikon S201  and could quickly see the difference, then I took shots of a cat and a dandelion head and wow! I am really pleased with it and am sure I will get a lot more from it once I can exploit some of its other features. I have since taken many pictures and love wildlife and plants. A trip to Kew gardens was a great place to shoot some fun shots. I’ll post some on the web.

Now that I have had it for a while I can honestly say it was a real good decision and I continue to be amazed by the quality of the pictures it takes. Fujifilm 200EXR is Highly Recommended!

Snug fitting camera case for Fuji 200 EXR. Lowepro Napoli 20 Camera Case. This case has a strong stitched loop on the back to go through your belt and will just allow the hand cord to wrap in the top above the lens. If you want a custom made case for the Fuji 200 EXR then you can pick up these cases in many high street stores or off the web.

I have had many digital cameras from 1.3m pixels upwards. I try to carry a compact with me to take fun pictures or nature and wildlife shots. When a colleague showed me the results from the Panasonic TZ5 camera I was blown away and had to get an up to date camera that took good shots. Here are the two cameras vying for my money.
